Minority Business Owners
In a country where diversity is more and more valued every day, both individuals and the federal government are working to give more opportunities to minority business owners in order to diversify the scope of business owners all over the country. To this end, the US Department of Commerce runs an agency, the Minority Business Development Agency, which can be found at "http://www.mbda.gov/" on the web. Here, and in other places online, minority business owners can find a multitude of resources that are tailored toward not only them as individuals, but their individual businesses as well. These resources include beginners guides, planning and financing guides, links and other information on starting, planning for and running a business. Some of the information is valuable for almost anyone and a broad array of topics are covered that can help you in several aspects of planning your business. There are opportunities for everyone out there, and agencies such as the MBDA are doing more every day to make those opportunities known and available to those in need.
