Working with Your Local Secretary of State

When registering a corporation with a local Secretary of State office, the process can sometimes take several weeks, even a couple of months.  Once the process is complete, the business owner is sent Articles of Incorporation which state the type and date of incorporation.  In instances where a business owner needs the filing and processing to be completed sooner than normal, an expedited fee can be paid to speed the process along.  This fee can cost up to a few hundred dollars, but will allow the processing to be done within a few days, instead of a few weeks.
