For individual physicians, dentists, and optometrists, financing is still achieved on the personal credit side.  However, many business credit programs exist for refinancing, practice acquisition financing, equipment leasing, and other medical financing.  As a practice grows, so do its options; commercial real estate funding, equipment collateralization, and many other strategies can be applied to leverage the practice’s revenues and continue to expand. 

On the supply side of the health care industry, there exist even more business financing opportunities.  Medical supply companies, home health care agencies, and many other supply-side businesses can take advantage of factoring, inventory loans, and business lines of credit.   Because of the ever-expanding nature of America’s health care industry, many of these programs have become available only in the last few years.
